In life I am constantly looking for balance. I am always redirecting towards the middle path because I am always finding myself pulled to the extremes. I can be an extremely passionate or stubborn person depending who is doing the framing.
I find little pleasure in the meh of life. That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy small moments. There is nothing meh about feeling the sun soak into your SPF’d skin while wearing a hat sitting on a bench surrounded by nature, chirping insects and bull frogs in front of the water Lilly pond. That is not the meh of life. That is the essence. The moments u am drenched in that refuel your drive to continue to exist just as you are.
I mean the shallows: the meh: the half assed: the bull shit: the fine how are you: the your hands are full huh?: the auto populated: the don’t say that out loud: the you’re too much: the millennial gray (mmmmm yeppp i have grey in my kitchen and i think i might be. Millennial but im that weird born in one age but really raised in another…….)
I am so incredibly obviously the improper punctuation, run on and on sentence kind of girl. I remember so many comments about this from teachers when I was young. The you can leave this out. Why do you use the spaces like that? The : over and; over and not always right………….. and I love a good dragged out dot line. Because I just do.
Even the teachers were directing me to subtly give less, share less, say less, and do it this way, with correct grammatical punctuation. I have also struggled with being told what to do my life. Shocking I know right?
So all of this does bring me back to my main point/ title I swear. (As I have said, my brain is a series of connect the dots.) The tight rope walker. Pulling myself to the middle because that is where I am balanced. It’s thrilling. Some people watch so excited and proud. Some are watching and thinking how thrilling, how scary if I fall. And who knows which I will actually do I suppose. As for now: ‘I’m killing it’ and Gosh! They can’t keep their eyes off me!!
