“Let em talk about ya”

My obsession with Kesha has been long lasting. She has numerous songs about allowing people to say whatever they are going to. She really invented the ‘Let Them’ theory in action.

People who don’t know you can’t judge your character. People who don’t hold your morals and values; are not appropriate sources to judge. I have begun to realize it is not my place to educate everyone or help them to be better. I’ve become a lot better at allowing people to just be where they are.

Maslow hierarchy of needs but self improvement and betterment at the top of the pyramid and it’s called self actualizing. I am so privileged that I have had a lot of time to focus on that. Most people don’t get them time and often it’s from a lack of resources.

Survivalist mentality helped me because I worked really hard and stored my resources thinking I never had enough. While I am not rich by any means. I am comfortable.

I mind limits: cooking at home often, buying things in bulk, reusing old things or repurposing. My old jewelry organizer is currently a baby snack wafer holder and it is working amazing.

A grown adult man was using words I don’t approve of: retard and pussy. He didn’t like my response. That a pussy is stronger than he could ever be because it creates and delivers life. Something he is incapable of. his comments of course were political and focused on other content beyond his wildly inappropriate language.

He redirected/ or deflected back to his own agenda: trying to spread political rhetoric. My response was being simple: I would be so embarrassed if my husband used that language. I am so embarrassed when my father uses those words.

I guess that one got to him. Maybe not. The original poster hid the exchange. Ok; your page. Cool got it. Keep what you want people to see that is fine.

I stand by my statement: I would be so embarrassed. As for his wife: I feel so sad for her and her children. I feel so sad that this is how the bullshit continues because husbands say things like this: because wives don’t or won’t speak up: heck maybe she even agrees? That children are being exposed to this and are likely to carry that wording with them and use those words to put others down.

All these things out of my control. I can promise you one thing world. NOT MY SON.

My son will not use the word retard. He will not call people pussies. He will not disrespect your child because of their skin color, age, ability or disability, sexual preference, sexual orientation, race, economic wealth or lack of.

My son will be better and don’t worry: my daughter will be too. I pray I raise her strong enough to never tolerate that and I hope I am able to remain in a position where I can provide safe harbor and refuge if the ever found out somehow that they were wrong and ended up with a partner like that somehow.

Come home baby: rebuild: I promise you there is better out there in the world than someone like that. I know because I found one.
